After obtaining my M.A. in Political Science and my M.A.T. in History, I began student teaching in January of 1996 with Stuart Berkowitz. His creativity and energy inspired me.
The student teaching led to a full time job in the fall of 1996. At the time I was teaching sociology, geography, political science, and economics.
Since 2005, I have exclusively taught world geography and cultures, although political science, history, and economics often get woven into our discussions and mapping labs. I feel fortunate to work every day with such amazing students and colleagues.
My husband and I have three children and a cavachon named Mali.
Back in the classroom again...am wondering why I would blog about my classroom. This is obviously different than my classroom journal because it is public. Who really wants to know about my geography classroom?
